Choosing a VO Conference with the Best ROI

Choosing a VO Conference with the Best ROI

Dear Voice Over Community,

I have been invited to a number of voice-over conferences as a speaker and coach. I see the hungry looks in the eyes of those who are committed and hopeful for success in the complex world of VO. I understand the challenges that come with establishing yourself as a premiere talent. It hurts me when I see emerging and newly established talent spending way more than their budgets allow to meet and connect with the pros. That is why I created the #VOMastery Summit here in Ft. Myers, Florida.

Why force those who are not yet making six-figure salaries to pay for hotels in New York or Los Angeles just to shake a few hands? It can wipe out your education and marketing budget faster than you can say “member FDIC.” I decided to hold a Voice Over Mastery event here on the Gulf Coast of Florida for two reasons:

  1. I wanted to create an event so big that I would lure my friends and colleagues who are the top pros on the planet.
  2. I also wanted to create an event that would pay it forward to a community that is near and dear to me by offering a quality conference at an affordable price that offers a huge return on your investment.

So, I partnered with The Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center to create a state-of-the-art conference that would attract folks from all over the world to experience this little paradise I call home without spending a fortune. I decided the opening price would be just $299. The SBDAC was so impressed with the success of last year’s event, this year they committed to purchasing 3 Studio Bricks Booths as a permanent installation to forward the art of voice over and recording. I also decided to offer paid jobs that attendees can audition for and offer high-end giveaways, like a Neumann TLM 103 microphone (valued at $1,000). Hotels rooms start at just $85 a night and the airfares are also reasonable.

Who are the VO pros coming this year? The Emmy-nominated narrator from the hit CW TV show Jane the Virgin, Anthony Mendez, and the original voice of Apple’s Siri, Susan Bennett, will be here! My writing partner for Voice For Hire: Launch and Maintain a Lucrative Career in Voice-Over, Peter Rofé, and his team from top New York studio PDR Voice-Over Coaching will be on hand to help you craft your signature sound. Renowned international studio owner Ronald Magaut is bringing a LIVE English language audition direct from Paris that attendees can audition for. Online casting expert, coach and demo producer J. Michael Collins will be there to show you how to master pay-to-play VO sites. Spanish voice actor and coach Simone Fojgiel and voice actor and Spanish dubber Pilar Uribe will direct sessions en español. AND the pièce de résistance, the global premier of the video I produced to honor my dear friend and the greatest living narrator Peter Thomas. Plus, so much more!

If you are ready to take your voice over career to the next level and beyond head to and register at the introductory admission price of just $299. As far as I can tell, it’s the best ROI anywhere. I look forward to seeing you in November.

Yours Truly,

Randy Thomas
